The Upton U8 Pumas crossed the border into Wales to play in the Colwyn Bay Tournament on Sunday 19th May 2019. The boys won all 5 of their group games, finishing top of their group with a goal difference of 27+. In the semi-final they played Hawarden Rangers, winning 5-0 and earning a place in the final where they were up against very strong opposition, academy team, Llandudno Junction. The boys had most of the possession and were rewarded with a 1-0 win, scoring in the last 2 minutes of the game.
Well done boys, both for a great day of football and for representing Upton JFC so well, both on and off the pitch. A big thank you to all the parents for supporting the players.
